Mike has been a pastor, vocationally and bi-vocationally for 40 years. He believes the church is the hope of the world. He loves to help others find the love and hope of Christ, and to say yes to their invitation of abundant life. His joy is to help others say yes to a life they never thought they could live, and then see that multiplied as they live in community with other followers of Jesus.
Mike has planted three churches, served in Derby England and now calls Des Moines and DSM Vineyard his home. He has regularly served with Flourish teams for Vineyard USA’s Pastors’ Sabbath Retreats.
He is married to Sherri and together they love 5 sons, a daughter and 7 grandchildren. He loves to be out in nature, riding his bike, hiking, camping, and playing with his grandchildren. His favorite saying is “The best is yet to come.”
