we are called together in following Jesus to live out a redemptive story. We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life and backgrounds who have been brought out of the darkness and into the light of His amazing love. We have said ‘Yes’ to the greatest invitation of all, a brand new life in Christ Jesus.
In following Christ, we know that we have joined the greatest search and rescue mission ever. We desire to see our friends, neighborhoods, and cities impacted by the Kingdom of God as the poor are fed and clothed, the sick are healed, and the addicted and oppressed are set free and lives restored. We want to see God’s love and mercy touch the people with whom we work, live, play and go to school.
We think our faith should be lived out authentically. We are followers of Jesus cleverly disguised - as business professionals, nurses, educators, carpenters, stay-at-home moms or students - who simply want to give our all to the One who gave His all for us.
John Wimber would always look back to what the Scriptures say, right on the page. We base everything we do on the “main and the plain” teaching that Jesus gave.
We are given to express worship and compassion in every part of our lives. This is our expression of loving God and loving our neighbor.
We believe that anyone can do the work of the Kingdom. We don’t have an elite or superstar leaders – we are all commissioned – men and women, children, of every background.
We believe the call to be the Body of Christ involves getting outside of our comfort zones. Adventurous faith is welcome in the Vineyard.
We avoid all hype or emotional manipulation. Going about our lives naturally, we pray for healing and listen for God’s voice in all circumstances.
