Join us for a weekend of art, faith and friendship. This will be a weekend for the whole family. Special guest artist, Steve Kowbel, will be leading us through a time of art on Saturday night; and then leading and sharing with us on Sunday morning.
It all began in a garage with a talented teacher passing on his craft. Thanks to the lessons of teacher Dick Dorn, Steve Kowbel picked up the artisan craft of hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery. In 2020 Steve and his wife relocated from Des Moines, IA to Chicago’s North Shore, and the adventure continues with a blank slate on so many horizons. Creating for everyday use, celebrating beauty for everyday living.
Steve's work can be purchased from EarthenWarehouse.com
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. II Corinthians 4:7
