Today's Message Notes

As we look outside, the trees are bare right now. They all look the same on the outside - yet some are dead and some are very much alive. So it is with the people we see every day.

Don’t be a dead man standing. Where do you find yourself? The people you love?

Let the Psalm read your life and listen to what God wants you to show you…

Psalm 1

Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
    or stand around with sinners,
    or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
    bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.

But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

•  How is your life in step with God or with the wicked, the sinners, the mockers?

•  How will you attend to God’s Word day and night?

•  What is causing drought in your life?

•  Where is the living water?

•  What type of fruitfulness do you desire for yourself  and to share with those around you

Missed seeing everyone’s faces and giving hugs. And the worship… King of Kings by Chandler is on my 2023 playlist. What is a favorite on your worship playlist right now?
